Shafkat Khan Siam

Hi there! I’m a computer engineer with a deep passion for machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence. I hold an M.Sc. in Computer Engineering from Chosun University (Korea) and a B.Eng. from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (Bangladesh).
I’m currently a PhD researcher in Computer Science at University College Cork, working under Dr. Krishnendu Guha and Dr. MD Noor‑A‑Rahim. My research brings interpretable AI and deep‑learning methods to next‑generation wireless networks.
Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked as a Machine Learning Engineer in industry. At Rokomari.com Ltd, I built end‑to‑end data‑cleaning pipelines, recommendation engines, and AI‑powered chatbots for our e‑commerce platform. At Banglalink, I led AI‑driven customer‑insight and network‑optimization projects. Before that, as a Graduate Research Assistant in Professor Ho Yub Jung’s Computer Vision Lab, I co‑authored two papers on computer vision, image processing, and explainable AI.
I love tackling challenging problems with data and algorithms, and I’m always exploring new techniques to push the boundaries of AI. Feel free to dive into my projects and publications below—thanks for stopping by!
